Odysee Portal, DCA agents, Decent Land research team

Odysee launches a new decentralized media platform, Botega showcases DCA agents, and Decent Land announces their new research arm.

GM!

Last week Odysee announced their new "Portal" publishing platform, Botega shared the results of a week-long experiment with onchain agents, and Decent Land announced their new research arm.

Let's get into it.

Odysee Portal announced ➡️

Odysee, the decentralized video sharing platform building on Arweave, has released a new project called Portal.

Portal is a platform that allows organizations to launch their own websites and manage their content. Organizations will have complete control over their site, and the Portal platform builds on the continued integration with decentralized infrastructure like Arweave.

Odysee has also previously mentioned the idea of a Decentralized Media Ecosystem (DME) which would encompass different content shared across decentralized platforms, and Portal also seems to be playing a role in this.

Portal is currently in beta and organizations can request early access. We're excited to see how it can bring more usage to Arweave.

Botega showcases DCA Agent 🤖

Screenshot of DCA order on Botega.

Botega is an AO-native DEX, and the team behind it has been heavily involved with agent infrastructure on Arweave and AO.

Botega itself has built-in functionality for users to deploy onchain programs, such as DCA (Dollar Cost Average) agents, which automatically swap tokens over a given time period.

Last week, Botega displayed the results of one of these agents - instead of acquiring AO with a one-time swap, spreading the swaps over the week allowed them to accrue more AO tokens than with a single swap (NFA, and DYOR).

DCA as a strategy isn't new - but being able to set up the swaps on a DEX, and have the strategy onchain, is a really great example of what's possible with AO.

Put this together with AO's capabilities to deploy extremely large onchain applications, and we will possibly see more complex strategies built out in the future.

Decent Land launch research arm 🔍

Decent Land Labs are the team behind infrastructure in the Arweave ecosystem, including Load Network.

They recently announced a new research initiative focused on their unique experience working with the EVM and Arweave, in combination with AO. Considering just how widespread Ethereum is, it's awesome to see Decent Land push towards collaborative solutions for Ethereum while utilizing Arweave and AO.
