Last week had some upcoming announcements from Apus Network, RefractionDAO utilizing Arweave, and lots of IRL event happenings in India and the Philippines.

💻 Apus - a trustless GPU network for AO

Apus Network recently announced they will be displaying a proof of concept for their network on July 15.

AO provides decentralized compute, but currently only utilizes the CPU of the machines on its network.

Apus are building a trustless GPU network on AO which means GPU-intensive tasks, such as AI training and inference. This is currently their main goal.

⚡️ RefractionDAO utilizes Arweave

Arweave has the potential to be the home of digital creators thanks to its Universal Data License (UDL) and permanent storage system.

RefractionDAO, a community of artists, musicians, and more, has started utilizing Arweave.

Mathew Jonson, an EDM musician, will be launching a new piece this week at RefractionDAO's Brussels event. The piece will make use of the UDL, which grants real-world rights for digital assets.

The blending of IRL events, and digital assets with IRL rights is awesome to see. Pretty cool!

🇵🇭 Arweave Philippines builders program begins

Arweave Philippines Builders Program has just started, with up to $10,000 in prizes for winning projects.
