GM!

Welcome to this week's Arweave Weekly Digest.

Lots happening over the last week - 10 billion transactions on mainnet, Keystone Wallet now supports DumDum NFTs, and oh - we only launched a hackathon with up to $50K in funding for the winners. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Let's get into it.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Take Part in the Fullstack Hack

Launch graphic for the Fullstack Hack. Has text saying up to $50K in funding. Link to community.arweave.net. Arweave, AO, and ArFleet logos on the right with the dates Nov 1 - Nov 19 2024.

Last week we announced the Fullstack Hackathon - focused on using Arweave and AO (and/or ArFleet) to build decentralized applications. Get the details here.

This hackathon is open to everyone - builders, designers, marketers, you name it - form a team, and build something for the long-term.

Winners can earn up to $50K in funding, and there's a referral system built on AO computer too. There's up to $5,000 USD total rewards for referrers. Become a referrer here.

๐Ÿ˜ Arweave transactions hit the big 10 billion

Text reads "ARWEAVE 10 BILLION TRANSACTIONS" with 3D Arweave logo shapes in the background.

10 billion transactions stored on Arweave. What an insane number.

As Sam Williams, founder of Arweave pointed out, it took over 5 years to go from 0 to 1 billion transactions. From 1 billion to 10 billion, it took less than a year and a half.

This is likely in part due to AO Computer, a decentralized compute network built on top of Arweave which launched this February.

It looks like Arweave usage is on the rise, which is a positive for the ecosystem. NFA.

๐Ÿ”‘ Keystone Wallet gets DumDum Support

Mockup of Keystone wallet with a DumDumz background.

Keystone Wallet, a hardware wallet which integrates with ArConnect, has announced support for DumDumz NFTs.

This is a great step forward as digital assets (or rather, atomic assets) play a big part on Arweave and AO on Bazar's marketplace. Further support for atomic assets in hardware wallets means a new way to secure them rather than traditional wallets.

ICYMI ๐Ÿ‘€

K4y1s has written up a great guide on how to host an Arweave gateway with an AO CU (Compute Unit) at the same time.

If you're into hosting decentralized infra, contributing the Permaweb, or are curious about how it works, check it out here!
