AO Computer went fully LLM compatible, AO bridging hits $300MM+, and Hacker House v.2 has selected the next Arweave India cohort.

🤖 Fully onchain AI/LLMs with AO

onch(ai)n is the new onchain.

You can now deploy entire AI models on AO (and by proxy on Arweave), which actually execute in the smart contract. It currently includes support for popular open source models such as Meta's Llama 3, and Microsoft's Phi-3.

This is thanks to some technical features built on AO, including support for WASM64 (WebAssembly) and a built-in inference engine (llama.cpp) which allow for these bigger applications like LLMs to run.

The support for larger apps also isn't restricted to AI - you can deploy other applications which use >4GB ram, which is a lot of memory compared to most blockchains!

🌉 The Fair Token Launch Kicks Off

A couple of weeks ago, AO announced its tokenomics model - 100% community.

The $AO token can only be acquired in two ways (as of today):

• Holding $AR
• Bridging staked assets to AO

Rewards for bridging went live this week, and there is already $300,000,000 of $stETH now bridged to AO.

Yes, you heard that right. 300+ million (USD value).

This is in less than a week.

🇮🇳 Winners of Hacker House II challenges announced

Arweave India's challenges for the second Hacker House have recently ended.

The first Hacker House ultimately brought 0rbit, BetterIDEa and others into the AO ecosystem, so we're excited to see what projects this second one will bring. Check out their X/Twitter to see some of the awesome submissions.
