GM!

Welcome to this week's Arweave Weekly Digest.

Last week AO hit 2M tokens minted (as well as 600M messages sent), BazAR launched Omega One quests in partnership with AO, and KYVE Network announced an integration with ArDrive.

Let's get into it.

🏛️ AO mints 2M $AO tokens

Text reads AO tokens minted. 2,020,202 / 21M.

AO's native currency ($AO) has recently reached the 2 million mark.

Users can only earn $AO by holding $AR or by bridging staked assets to AO (e.g. $stETH or $DAI).

AO is super exciting as it's one of the fairest token launches in recent blockchain history - no AO tokens have been premined or sold to venture capital firms.

AO tokens have a maximum supply of 21M meaning just under 10% of the total supply has been minted, and will be available to trade in approximately February 2025. Not financial advice and not available to persons in the US.

🚀 Omega One is a go Ω

In partnership with AO, BazAR marketplace have launched some exclusive atomic assets obtainable by completing a series of quests and collecting relic assets.

The quests require users to deposit at least $100 to the AO pre-bridge, and hold at least 1 $wAR. It also has the added benefit that depositors will be earning $AO as mentioned!

The same restrictions apply - not financial advice, and not available to persons in the US.

This is the first time we've seen limited edition collectibles with quests on AO, so a pretty exciting step for building adoption.

💾 KYVE Network announces ArDrive integration

Screenshot of KYVE Network Validator/Builder Discord call.

KYVE Network are a decentralized data access and retrieval network that have been long-time users of Arweave.

KYVE uses Arweave for immutability, and storing backups of KYVE-validated blockchain data.

Recently, they announced on a builders and validators call that they will be switching to ArDrive Turbo for uploads, and the uploads will be payable by the $KYVE token.

This has been a highly requested feature in the KYVE community and is great for KYVE to make use of some of the best open source technology available in the Arweave ecosystem.
