Permanent, sovereign, open data
Sam frames Arweave as a relationship between individuals and their data, built on verifiable permanence, true ownership, and open access. These quotes get to the heart of what makes Arweave fundamentally different from anything that came before it.

Like most Arweavers, Sam thinks in terms of centuries. His vision for Arweave extends toward a foundational layer for a new kind of internet, one where user rights are built directly into the architecture.
